5Four languages is the first question the app asks, before it asks for anything else — a Düsseldorf mosque founded by Albanians serves Albanian, German, English and Arabic speakers, and guessing wrong is worse than asking. Permissions come after the app has shown what it is for, not before.

Notifications & location
Both Android 13 prompts explained in one screen, with the honest reason for each: adhan alerts need POST_NOTIFICATIONS, the qibla needs a coarse fix, and prayer times work without either.
First sync
Pulling the full 365-day table from mymosq so the times keep working with the phone in flight mode — the mihrab and the strip drawn as skeletons.

9The core of the product and the reason it exists. The mosque publishes an astronomical time and a congregation time for each prayer, and every screen in this flow keeps them apart. The day drawn everywhere is Thursday 30 July 2026 at 16:44, which puts Ikindia 1h 10m away and Jumu'ah tomorrow.

The countdown to Ikindia inside the mihrab, the day's six times as a strip, and — because today is Thursday — tomorrow's Jumu'ah promoted onto the home screen.

The funnel is amount → purpose → method, and the bank transfer path is a first-class citizen because most of this money arrives by Überweisung.

7The reference half of the app: the Qur'an audio the community publishes, the three PDFs it hands out at the door, and who the people at the front actually are. Only the imam is named on the live site; the other two posts carry representative names, which README.md flags.

How this folder is built
One red, three jobs
The community's red is the brand, the primary action and the alarm all at once, so hue can never be the only signal. Errors always carry the triangle glyph and say what failed; destructive actions never get a filled red button outside a confirm dialog — they get the outline inside a fenced danger zone.
A second voice
Gold is the only colour added to the site's palette. It carries Jumu'ah, Ramadan and the prayer whose window is open right now — states that are neither neutral nor an emergency, and which red would have shouted.
Two clocks, never blurred
Every prayer has an astronomical time (koha) and a congregation time (xhemati). They differ by 54 minutes at Sabahu and 16 at Dreka. The app shows both columns, weights the one you set an alarm by, and writes “me kohë” where the mosque prays at the time itself.
Nothing photographed
There are no image assets. Every album cover, project header and hero field is a token gradient with a girih, khatim or muqarnas tile masked out of its own ink — so the art re-colours with the mode instead of going grey.
